Why I’m so passionate about helping my clients:
I was an athlete in my 20s and continued to be competitive athletically even during a career on Wall Street. Back then, I took for granted that I would always look and feel extremely healthy! But, my Wall Street career gave me a “risk management” mindset.
I thought, “How can I manage things so I get the outcome I want: maintaining my health and vitality (reward!) vs. what I don’t want: losing my healthy looks, energy, strength and happiness (risk!)” I’ve done decades of research on the science of nutrition, exercise, stress management, sleep and personal relationships to develop my personal “risk management” protocol. I’ve turned this “strategy” into habits, which I think will last me the rest on my happy, healthy life!
Then, especially as we all got a little older and I kept looking and feeling “the same”, friends, family, and even acquaintances kept asking how I was doing it. I helped many people just by giving them a few specific recommendations tailored to their specific situations. That got me hooked!
I have a passion to spread my knowledge to others to empower them to develop their own habits to reach their own optimal healthspan without spending their time doing the research I still do, AND without getting sucked in by all the confusing, conflicting and often misleading “health headlines” in the media and the internet.
